Our snow making nozzles are used in snow making guns and equipment in both medium and high pressure applications. Depending on the nozzle type and operating pressure, the droplet sizes can vary from medium to very fine. Amerispray’s snow making nozzles include the MX, MZ, and MN series. Filters can be used just prior to the nozzle and orifice to remove clogging debris. The MN nozzle can also be used with an O-ring that helps to illuminate leakage and ice formation, making it easier to remove.
Filters for artificial snow making
Amerispray filtration systems can be used to filter water from pumping stations that draw water from natural sources, such as ponds, lakes, rivers, and wells. Typically, they are mounted after the booster pumps, prior to the high pressure pumps. Self-cleaning filtration is ideal in these applications, due to the potential high volume of sand and debris present in natural water sources. We typically recommend filtration that ranges from 100-500 microns for these applications. Please see the filtration catalog for more specific details on our filtration products.
